The whole purpose of BPM is to help organizations become more agile and effective by enabling them to better understand, manage and adapt their business processes. But BPM initiatives can be hugely challenging and in order to be successful, BPM requires buy-in from a broad cross-section of the business, the right technology selection and highly effective change management processes.
The pain is worth it, however. Successful BPM projects can help transform businesses, giving them better insight, enabling them to deliver their services flexibly and dynamically and supporting the level of agility that the business requires.
This conference will focus on the practical steps that organizations need to take in order to deliver effective business change. In addition to drawing on Ovum’s extensive research, you will hear from real-world practitioners and the leading technology companies in the field.
We have introduced two tracks to the conference agenda this year; BPM ‘Art’, which focuses on the change management challenges associated with BPM and BPM ‘Engineering’, which focuses on the technical challenges of BPM. Both will provide you with valuable, practical teachings and insights.
- How to make the business case for BPM and convince the business to invest: To be successful, BPM projects need buy-in from across the business. We’ll highlight the most effective strategies to ensure that the business is engaged throughout each BPM project.
- What steps you need to take at the outset to ensure that your BPM project is successful: The first phase of any BPM project is the most crucial. Getting the right people into the room and establishing the right process from the outset is key.
- What impact will social, mobile and the connected consumer have on BPM? Disruptive technologies like social and mobile are challenging existing business processes. We’ll show you how BPM can help an organization integrate multiple channels and technologies into its business processes.
- What are the characteristics of the most successful BPM projects? Learn from real world adopters of BPM about the things they did to ensure success.
- What are the most important factors in choosing a BPM solution? Drawing on Ovum’s decades of experience in evaluating and helping clients select technology products, we’ll share the key factors that should drive your choice of BPM technology.
During the event you can tap into Ovum’s expertise through one-to-one consultations with our analysts at the Analyst Clinic.
Here, in 30 minute meetings, you will be able to discuss the challenges facing your organization and get personalized advice on how the latest trends in business technology will affect your business and your industry sector. Ovum’s global IT and Telecoms analyst team and experts in their respective fields, are available to meet with you. We encourage you to take advantage of this experience by securing a one-to-one meeting in advance to be sure of availability, or on the day.- CIO
